Are you searching for cheap and convenient storage around Caerphilly? The easyStorage franchise has just launched its Southern Wales branch and is now available to the residents and businesses of Caerphilly.
The easyStorage approach to self storage puts the customer and their needs first. The easyStorage system moves away from traditional storage units and self storage solutions. By eliminating the need for expensive self storage buildings and bringing storage to your doorstep so that you don't need to hire a van, easyStorage is making storage more affordable and convenient than ever before. To take advantage of this great new approach to self storage all you need to do is place an order either online or over the phone with one of our friendly storage experts. Once your order is placed and you’ve selected your preferred date and time slot, our custom easyStorage van will arrive at your door with your storage pod. Our easyStorage crew will ensure that all of your items are well protected and professionally packed into your easyStorage pod before your pod is transported to one of our secure easyStorage warehouses for storage. When you need your things back your pod is returned to your doorstep and our crew will move your items back into your home or business. If you need to access your pod while it’s in storage you can book a pod visit.
Caerphilly is located approximately 7 miles north of Cardiff. Famous for its cheese and castle, the town of Caerphilly dates back hundreds of years. It was originally a Celtic settlement before being conquered by the Romans and later the Normans. Caerphilly Castle was completed in 1271 by Anglo-Norman nobel Gilbert de Clare to subdue the local Welsh lords. Second only to Windsor, Caerphilly Castle is one of the biggest castles in the UK and forms the center of the town of Caerphilly. The castle was constructed as part of a campaign to maintain control of Glamorgan. Gilbert and his descendants fought for years against the native Welsh rulers. The castle has probably seen more siege attempts than any other in the UK. Caerphilly castle is surrounded by an extensive artificial lake and is considered by historian Allen Brown to be "the most elaborate water defences in all Britain". The Caerphilly Castle is also noted as the first example of concentric castle defences in the UK and is potentially what enabled the Castle to weather so many attempted sieges.
Modern Caerphilly is a much brighter and happier place than its battle hardened heritage might suggest. While the Castle still forms the town center and is perhaps its most popular sight, there are many other attractions to Caerphilly that make it one of the most visited towns in south Wales. It also has a growing population of new residents which is one of the main reasons we’re so excited to bring the easyStorage self storage solution to the beautiful town of Caerphilly as currently most storage available in Caerphilly is container storage. While container storage is certainly useful, it’s notorious for ruining soft items like clothes, sofas and mattresses with an odor which is near impossible to remove.
Visitors to Caerphilly will find themselves spoilt for choice with areas of natural beauty to explore and great places to eat. A walk up the majestic Caerphilly mountain and a tour of Llancaiach Manor are possibly Caerphilly’s two biggest attractions after the castle and are a must for anyone with an appreciation for well kept gardens or a love of greenery. Coffi Vista Cafe that overlooks the castle is a great place to kick back and take in Caerphilly’s beautiful scenery.
A twenty minute drive from the city center brings you to one of Caerphilly’s most unique landmarks, Parc Penallta. A beautiful park with wide open fields, a willow tunnel, an observatory and a 200 ft long sculpture of a horse named Sultan the Pit Pony. The amazingly large horse hill was constructed to cover up an old coal pit after the Caerphilly coal industry closed. The sculpture has become so popular that Parc Penallta has become commonly referred to as ‘the place with the horse’.
With such great scenery and so many interesting places to visit it’s easy to see why Caerphilly’s popularity as a getaway and as a place to live is growing so steadily. We look forward to bringing the easyStorage offering to the residents of Caerphilly and further our reputation of affordable prices and outstanding service.
Another happy easyStorage customer
One of our more recent customers had this to say on Trustpilot about his easyStorage experience. “Best thing I ever did was to book easyStorage! I have had to move 13 times in as many years, often with breaks between homes and therefore staying with parents for a few weeks. I'd always used self storage facilities in the past for these periods. What a mistake! A right palava and so expensive. I decided this time to use easystorage and I have been kicking myself that I'd never done it before. Booking was easy as pie and the customer service was impeccable. The service on the day was amazing, the easyStorage crew arrived, the nicest 2 guys you could ever wish to meet! They loaded all my furniture and possessions for storage into the crates in June and it was so simple and effortless for me. 5 months later I got my new flat. The same two guys arrived with all my stuff, unloaded it up into my first floor flat and were so lovely and friendly and very speedy. I cannot thank them enough and will be recommending easystorage to everyone I know. They are the BEST! Massive thank you to all of them, including those on the phone!”
