[Updates for existing customers] easyStorage is upgrading its payment provider - Learn More
Updated 01/05/2020
We are continuing to closely monitor the situation and the advice from government agencies in respect of returning to normal operations. We anticipate that we will recommence limited services on the 18th May 2020 but please bear with us as we are operating on reduced staff so availability will be limited. We are also prioritising key workers and vulnerable people at this time. In some areas our partner warehouses remain closed so unfortunately this may mean that we are unable to fulfil the return of items for some customers. Where items are collected, they may be stored in an alternative easyStorage facility until such time that all our facilities are operating normal business hours. The health and wellbeing of our people and customers is our top priority, so we’re following Government and medical advice to put safety first. We are taking the following measures to ensure safety:

•We’re checking with our teams daily to confirm that they don’t have any flu-like symptoms, aren’t self-isolating, and haven’t been to high-risk areas. If they answer “yes”, they won’t visit your home.

•The day before a scheduled appointment, we’ll contact you to ask if anyone living at your address has been asked to self-isolate, is shielded or has flu-like symptoms. If anybody responds with “yes”, then the visit will be rescheduled to a future date. If between the call and the visit anybody at your address develops symptoms you must advise us immediately.

•Strict hygiene measures for our teams have been implemented. These include anti-bacterial hand wipes/gel, the wearing of latex gloves and face masks as standard kit when entering your home.

•We are adhering to social distancing rules. We request that you are not in the same room as any of our team members and respect the two-meter rule at all times.

•Our teams will not ask you to sign our electronic tablet – they will do this on your behalf with your consent.

•Where possible, please leave doors open and provide unencumbered access to any areas of your property our teams need to enter.

•Where we are collecting items, please ensure items are packed as much as possible and ideally located together is a room in your home so we can remove them quickly and efficiently.

We reserve the right to reschedule your collection or return booking if guidance from the government indicates that we should not resume operations from the 18th May 2020. Any booking is made on the understanding that it is on a provisional basis. If our teams arrive at your property and do not feel safe or observe a person at your property with symptoms that have not been declared to us, they reserve the right to leave without completing the job. In this event no refund will be given. In the event that our teams are unable to gain access to areas of your property in accordance with the safety measures above then they may refuse to take items or return items to these areas of your property.

By following these measures we can help reduce the spread of the Coronavirus and protect our people, customers and the NHS.

Please call 0800 061 4091 if you have a collection or return with easyStorage and are self isolating.

Please keep safe.
